@Crafted_104 I’m assuming you mean generative LLMs, i.e. those built by stealing creative works and boiling the planet, with the aim of producing third-rate knockoffs…as opposed to the AI used in games, symbolic AI, and even “handwritten” programs which generate algorithmic art.
Whoever funds, makes, promotes, or uses generative LLMs…
- is an enemy of workers, justice, and life on Earth;
- is a useful idiot at best, and a morally bankrupt and apathetic person at worst;
- and (channeling my inner Tieria Erde here) deserves ten thousand deaths for it.

@contrapunctus @Crafted_104 I'm not an expert on the subject. I haven't researched it properly yet. But I was wondering... practically all actual LLMs are ethically awful, but the technology itself is interesting and, in theory, could do some good things, no?
