things i noticed in 2025 that i hope continue in the new year:
- increased young person interest in physical media
- ditto single purpose devices (standalone cameras and music players, specifically)
- event flyers. everywhere. physical advertising on paper taped or tacked to lampposts and community boards by a person.
@rose_alibi one thing I dislike not being born in the West is the lack of vintage or old hardware. It's incredibly rare to find old tech here in India. I've been searching for an iPod Classic for a while but can't find anything. Heck, cant even find a 3DS or DS

@SpaciousCoder78 I've gathered that - when i heard what a student paid for a vintage film camera in not very good shape in India i think my jaw actually dropped
@rose_alibi yeah it’s incredibly hard to find anything old or vintage here as people didn’t have any sort of disposable income back then. Any rare stuff usually electronics ends up in CeX but like I said no iPods or 3DS either
