Putting the final touches on my slides in preparation for tomorrow's talk at #ChennaiFOSS2026 but my computer's already gone into bedtime mode
@badrihippo ๐คจ
is it really necessary to yell on the slide?
big letters are so noisy ...
small letters are so kind and gentle ...
@SpaciousCoder78
Meanwhile, when someone asked me the copy of my today talk's presentation, I told them that I'll share the presentation. They literally said "don't call it a presentation, it looks more like a research book "๐ฅน๐ฅฒ
Roast of the day for me
But I know myself that my presentations really are some of the ugliest ones on earth ๐ฅน
I write it like a blog for the audience to have it as a reference and learn it later

@SpaciousCoder78
I create ppts like a blog instead of as a presentation. I should really learn these things to convey my point better. Long way to go for me I guess. Coz because of these overflowing info, I stutter a lot during presentation on what to explain first, whether they'll understand some stuffs first or should I start from here etc etc
Still figuring out how to achieve this.
@SpaciousCoder78
I forgot to say a lot of stuff of I do have only that as a reference, so maybe I should keep the presentation simple and have a guide in my mobile? ๐ค๐ค
Let's try that maybe next time
@vivekanandanks or just know the topic so well that you won't even need a presentation!
Thats how i do it
@SpaciousCoder78
That's how I do it too. But keep some points for reference and also the presentation is like a self readable blog like thing. I know I shouldn't bloat my presentation like that. I'll try very slim version next time and a follow up blog for self reading maybe
