#Ubuntu 26.04 should release today, so here is my look at all the major changes in there, and there are many!
Since 26.04 is an LTS, it will also be the base for a lot of popular distros in the future, and some changes here will likely affect these distros too, so even if you don't use Ubuntu specifically, it's worth a look!
@thelinuxEXP I had a look at your video and its interesting... Looks like they're making heavy modifications to the base system as well as the DE to build its own unique flavour.
I've been hearing that they re-wrote coreutils in rust. Is that ubuntu specific right now?

@thelinuxEXP in some month I will switch to it. But not now.
Last time I installed a just released LTS (24.04 which I still use) it was crippled with bugs. It started to work well only 4-5 months later. Now it's rock solid and, you know I'm still a bit reluctant to change it...😅
Cachy OS review when
@thelinuxEXP Salut Nick, bonne review. J'ai entendu dire qu'il avait renforcé la dépendance des snaps dans l'os, au point où ça allais créer des difficultés aux distro qui se base sur Ubuntu. As-tu eu cette impression?
