I just want to say thanks to the Debian Security Team for making my life sooooo much easier. For the most part, if I keep my system up to date I can switch my brain off.

In years of running many Debian systems for many people, I've never had a serious incident involving something that the Debian security team could've done anything about. Really stellar work and I'm sure many people don't even realise how much they benefit from it!

@highvoltage
Really nice feed-back

@highvoltage Here here. Been a Debian user since Potato, so I've seen a lot. They know what they're doing and they deserve a lot of thanks from a LOT of people, orgs and other distros that base off of them.

@highvoltage They're doing amazing work.

@highvoltage This is my experience, too, and it's why I'm still so reluctant to move away from , despite the decision(s), although I think that allowing vibe-coded slop (especially into the kernel) is 100% certain to lead to many catastrophic security holes.

The internet was on fire, but all I had to do was: `sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade`

@highvoltage and I am guessing all those projects with docker images based on debian had a similar feelings
