Thank you to all the people who made DebConf26 possible! The DebConf organisation team, the Debian Video Team, our speakers, volunteers, and attendees, and of course our sponsors. ```What's that, cricket? That's the English equivalent of sport, isn't it? No actual physical contact, just glaring.```

Something I came across:
- Link 1: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4TSbPI_GuBs
A Youtube video in which someone is demonstrating Text-to-Speech output in GRUB.
- Link 2: https://github.com/accessible-firmware/grub
A link to the Github repository which contains the accessibility patches which provide GRUB with the Text-to-Speech functionality.
If you know someone competent in Linux, they could build a GRUB package using the above repo and install that version of GRUB in your system.
No, you don't get to ask a question and tell me to shut up in the same statement. Learn some fucking manners while you're in timeout.

"Is this repo manually coded? If it's manually coded you're being left behind."
Ma'am, that is a twenty five thousand LoC slab of C++ code. It targets a console designed twenty two years ago and discontinued twelve years ago. It is an amalgamation of the work of several developers, forked, patched, reformatted, strained, and ultimately inexorably joined in an unholy Make ruleset. Market economics had no hand in the creation of this abhorrence. The fact that this project exists proves that God is either impotent to alter His universe or ignorant to the horrors taking place in his kingdom. This prism of code is more than a story point. It is a physical declaration of mankind's contempt for entropy. It is hubris manifest.
We also have an SDL3 port if you would prefer that.
Yesterday at #debconf26 we showed the Debian swirl with the hotel 🏨 rooms. Just a bit of jpeg jitter. 😉
#Debconf26, you were amazing. On so many different layers and areas, amazing at all of them. For me it's now time to say goodbye (the next conference is calling), but I will keep the place, the people, the laughs and everything here in fond memory. Much much love!
