Internet weirdo, F/OSS enjoyer, Debian Culter, pursuing a degree by day, spending my nights sleepless :p; feel free to reach out, and have a great day!

@rail @anarchiv I assume its unpowered and literally did _roll_ there, I dont see either third rail or OHE

"Post no signs" 🙃

A photo of a metal utility box mounted on a pole with four separate sheets of paper taped to it, each reading "NO" in quotation marks, placed directly above and below a stamped metal sign that reads "POST NO SIGNS".

Happy Internarional Post Day!

Got turned away at a local post office for "we dont care go bother this place", so apparently if you wanna to get cool stamps, theres a cool post office in the `Dlf Mega Mall` where they are oriented towards dealing with nerds!

Enjoy stupid post cards!!,!

Oh no people are protesting;

Time to shutdown all public transit and make accessibility to all parts of the city stop existing. Not like this is going to cause problems;

Fuck the Delhi Police.

She is just ignoring all rules 🪿 !!!

Three geese walking on the pavement in front of an "access prohibited" sign next to a river.

Indian online stores have 15000 varieties of shit nobody needs, but barely any accessibility tools for the .
(Looking at you, )

I have a friend who is on iPad who needs a Mastodon app that can be used successfully with voice commands. He does not have use of his hands. He tried the official Mastodon app and finds it unusable. Is there another app that might be better? ACTUAL experience helps. Please don't Google this for me or try to give advice on using an iPad. He's a very advanced user. Thank you!

Forwarding message I got from Samy Ben Redjeb <analogafrica@yahoo.com> ;
https://analogafrica.bandcamp.com/ is a record label specialised
in re-issueing old african soul music. "Does anyone here work at Meta and could help me restore my WhatsApp account? All my communication with musicians across Africa depends entirely on WhatsApp — from licensing negotiations and royalty payments to pretty much everything involved in running the label. Grateful for any help"

the automatic subtitles on YouTube are not properly accessible. swear words being blanked out is not neutral accessibility for Deaf people like me. if the person in the video is swearing, we need to have that information conveyed to us, not [_____]. we are Deaf, not children. but no one wants to talk about this.

Kashmiri and Afghan friends - potentially silly question - why is coconut used so often in your breads when it doesn't grow there much?

The great thing about SSO is that instead of signing into 15 systems once a day, I can sign into one system 25 times a day.

No, , I do not want to see a TV show glorifying the police while scrolling through videos of state violence on the side. Thank you.

New instance, and I need to test federation, so here's one of my favorite photos of Kaylan (who unfortunately passed away a few months ago).

Tuning server processes, so feel free to boost to make it work a bit.

"Programming is building a mental model. It is not mechanical code production. The shared mental model in developers' minds is the real product. A program is "living" only while the team understands this theory. When programmers leave, it becomes "dead". Without the original theory, new maintainers treat software as a black box, creating patchwork fixes that cause side effects and architectural decay."

Absolute truth.
