I run transmission daemon on one of my Beaglebone Black machines. It shares netinst iso images of latest revisions of Debian from wheezy to buster releases. I chose to share the most popular images, that is for (1) amd64, (2) i386, and (3) amd64+i386 architectures. So far it works already for 743 days and it uploaded 724.6 GB. Almost 1 GB per day. Nice little buddy.
Debian 4.0 (etch) was released in April 2007 [https://www.debian.org/News/2007/20070408], and in fact my journey in the Debian land started with etch release. Currently I'm with Debian for 13 years, and I like it more and more. It is not just a nice working and technically solid distribution, it is a welcoming and warm community.

Interesting talk about "as a service" stuff. As for me it looks very realistic without any dystopian hysteria. Should think more about it.

No Emacs-related project should exclude people, boycott other projects, or discourage participation in other projects because of any difference of opinion over non-technical matters. Such divisiveness weakens the community, discourages participation in the Emacs community, and holds back progress in improving software.

March is a month when elections of Debian Project Leader typically start. Good luck to all candidates of this year! I believe that contribution of all candidates are important, because each platform and q&a session help to understand the current state of the Project and focus our attention on our common future as a community.
Yay! Thanks to everyone who is involved into setting debian.social up. 🥳
