Would you like to see something astonishing?

Recently, a friend gave me a gift that she had been working on for almost a year. It was initially a gift for my 40th, but it took longer to make than she anticipated (BIG UNDERSTATEMENT).

It is - I cannot stress this enough - the coolest and most incredible thing I have ever owned, and I am moved beyond words that someone would put the time in to create something this awesome. For me (!!!).

Here is the London Underground Map... in cross stitch.

This is genuinely a picture of the London Underground map in cross-stitch, complete with the key to lines and interchanges

@fabi1cazenave Please let me know if everything is fine, I used a hardened systemd unit, etc.. so it runs as a separate user with no network nor filesystem access for enhanced security. I also disabled the TCP server for security.

kanata is now available in Debian unstable and testing! https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/rust-kanata

The binary package should work just fine on Debian stable and Ubuntu since its a Rust executable with a systemd service. 🙊

I just dropped Arsenik in /etc/kanata/ and everything works. ✨ @fabi1cazenave

Mhm, I wanted to revive my RaspberryPi 2 with Trixie, but it seems that the auto-built raspi images have stopped to be generated since 2023. https://raspi.debian.net/daily-images/

The slides of my lintian-ng presentation are available in the #Debconf25 shared repository: https://salsa.debian.org/debconf-team/public/share/debconf25/-/blob/910572409d4270759df3f714d92f3be0f82b68eb/slides/196-lintian-ng.pdf

And to hack around and contribute, do not hesitate to have a look at the git repository too! https://salsa.debian.org/gagath/lintian-ng

Woah, slept 14h. So it was not just a feeling, I *was* really tired after this Debconf. :)

@disaster2life Its happening!!1!

These custom-made earplugs are so far worth every euro they cost. More confortable than headphones and so light they can be kept for hours for focusing.

@CedC @fabi1cazenave I found some issues in kanata that I proposed to fix, like this PR: https://github.com/jtroo/kanata/pull/1684

So I guess if you could lobby upstream for this to get attention then it would allow us to reduce the difference with upstream.

If one ftpmaster wants to help a fella, here is some stuff that I sent into NEW today:

- rust-kanata-keyberon
- rust-patricia-tree
- rust-evdev
- rust-kanata-parser
- rust-kanata-tcp-protocol

All needed for ITP: kanata https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1107110 cc @fabi1cazenave

:grr:

@olasd @arra @Torrone QUID de https://fr.trotec.com/shop/compteur-de-particules-bq30.html ? La techno CO2 n’est pas indiquée sur celui là

Back on the laptop to code outside in the nice weather today. Kanata + Arsenik are so nice, makes it acceptable to leave my “coding basement” for fresh air. 😎
