@fraggle i’d seen your “miniwad” before but I’ve only just noticed the aesthetic is very similar to “robocop 3d”. Dunno if that was intentional?
@fraggle I’ll have to look that up. I was impressed with the compression 2040 achieved.
Just remembered that I bought “elite dangerous” years ago, never played it, it had mac support, and they’ve since cut that so I can’t play it on a mac anymore.
@fraggle did you see the RP 2040 doom write up? Absolutely fascinating. Starting point was chocolate doom
@fraggle just checked and our museum still has a fair bit e.g. https://nuhc.ncl.ac.uk/NEWUC:2024.0064
@fraggle some of their colour palettes/graphic design choices were inspired. The pdp-11 switches… there’s a lot of fondness for the PDP equipment that used to be deployed at Newcastle.
@ttyS1 I’m replacing a gogs instance. The gogs binary was 32M. Gitea is 132M. It failed to mirror one of the gogs repos (first I tried); no clear reason why. A day or so later left to it’s own devices and it’s got into a crash loop
@fraggle cool! Did it leave any kind of legacy on the town?
@patrickmcurry Slade, for doom WAD files. Quake’s WAD files aren’t the same. I don’t know if Slade handles quake’s, sorry
@neil @Tattooed_Mummy I’ve only seen the payment stuff if I’ve done a domain search; I haven’t had a breach alert for a while now (May it seems)
@neil @Tattooed_Mummy I was doing it before HIBP, and they originally didn’t limit domain reports this way, it came in relatively recently: so I was caught by surprise. Can’t really do anything about it now
@neil @Tattooed_Mummy I do this, but haveibeenpwned’s pricing strategy thwarts it: each unique address is a “user” from their POV, so I can’t get a free report anymore, and pricing for “600 users” is not affordable for what is really one user
I think I’ll switch to the container. It’s basically the same size anyway, and I’m already managing containers.
