@denyerec oh wait I’m already following you

I wonder if the PrusaLink httpd has an API. Could be nice to gather stats from it (temperatures etc)

@fraggle this is really cool. Does it work for IPv6?

It’s “ow ow ow rest my foot” o’ clock :(

This year I really enjoyed “into the breach” until I’m at the final mission and I have to make decisions about spending points for the last time and… I’ve lost all motivation to play it

Last yeah I was really enjoying xcom 2, right up to the landed-avenger mission, which was so good I thought the game would have peeked and never played it again

@aeva I wonder if there are good measurements of cost for eg Pleroma

Yesterday I spent an hour researching proxying a PTY/serial console for a 3D printer. I found solutions (passing a proxied PTY into a container doesn't work; but tunneling it over TCP does) but eventually remembered the Prusa Mini has Ethernet, and (unlike when I bought it) now has its own web interface (PrusaLink). And it more than does the job! #3dprinting

🌱 My Neighbor Mastodon (and Fediverse)

I'm grateful for reaching 30K followers who appreciate my art here. Thank you, thank you, and thank you for your support!

Many characters are sitting on a branch over a small pond, in nature. The branch bends under the weight of the giant Mastodon mascot. On his head, Carrot is fishing, but only gets a flower. Near him, the mascot of Misskey Ai-chan (a young Japanese student dressed in a school uniform and with cat hears) is fishing: she has caught the mascot of Peertube, an octopus. Pepper the witch is sitting in the middle of the branch, amused by the scene, and on the left, Pleroma-tan (a fox girl in a dark Japanese dress, with a fox tail) is also amused by the scene. Under the branch hangs the mascot of Gotosocial, a sloth.

@ploum @mntmn I’m trying to wean myself off trackpoints. OTOH, it’s proven useful to prevent me spending loads on mech keyboards

@mms is that an xsetroot background? 😻

@Inquisitive haha! A match made in heaven. I realised that the printers speak serial console, so loads of vintage stuff could theoretically drive them

Has anyone driven their 3d printer from an Amiga? #amiga #3dprinting

@scattershot Which label has the best connotations for you in terms of motivation or identity? Another possible name would be "Laboratory".

@bruces bandcamp “fan subscriptions” sure get the number up. I subscribed to British artist Scanner for a number of years and accumulated hundreds. It’ll take me a long time to listen to them all https://scanner.bandcamp.com/fan-club

I learn that kindle had flash cards with an article about kindle removing flash cards. I wonder if there’s a good flash card app for kobo https://goodereader.com/blog/kindle/amazon-kindle-flashcards-is-being-discontinued

@neil @drandrewv2 is this the kind of thing? Not sure of the dimensions https://www.printables.com/model/162730-cord-toggle

@rek this reads like something Cal Newport would write
