@cosmo tilix or balckbox with transparency will do that for you
@slomo @decathorpe you mean as FR for cargo ?
@decathorpe @slomo precompiled code for instance. our tooling would've caught that, but I think the crates ecosystem needs some checks /guidelines in place. relying on users / devs to spot those mistakes is questionable at best
three commits, lots of patching, building, testing and hacking later I updated the image, tiff and jpeg-decoder crates to their latest versions. This was the last hurdle to get #glycin-loders (needed for the new #Loupe image viewer in #GNOME 45) into #Debian unstable.
I'll relax now :)

sad that there is no smartwatch that utilizes free software and can count lanes when swimming. I'm strongly against trends like #SmartHome but I miss being able to do that. The only option would be buying a proprietary device and using #GadgetBridge for sync. not sure how I feel about that.
@futurebird ooh, this gave me goosebumps, well written !
Lots of hacking, questioning life choices and coffee later the #gtk-rs sys crates' source code gets all regenerated.
Simultaneously I bumped the version so they are on par with the latest release.
This is the last missing piece to get #libadwaita-rs into #Debian. Tomorrow I'll tackle #gstreamer and the rest of the crates.

@yassie_j just feeding them into GrimRipper and then playing it with cue or lollypop
@yassie_j I am grateful I never stopped buying CD's
About to #Interrail home from Barcelona, it's been a nice journey so far. Next stopover: Paris.
@lanodan @mirabilos debian still has a few packages depending on it (GTK2). Qt5 is eol iirc but still gets lts support. I don't think it's going away that soon.

@grillchen @ente @PINE64 never tried GPIO tbf, but they are really convenient as SBC and the company really seems to care about open hardware.
