So I re-setup my StarBook with #Debian and #sway after forgetting my LUKS passphrase, pretty much done. There's still a few minor things I need to fix but I already uploaded a package from this machine and finalized packaging for another one. I still need to figure out how to get greetd working (with #openRC ), test screensharing and setup brtfs snapshots but so far it's usable.
@decathorpe yeah
@decathorpe actually forgot my passphrase because I wasn't at my device for a month. Gave up and reinstalled as brute forcing would've taken forever.
On my way home from #GPN22
After a 2h delay because a tree fell on the train tracks I am finally on my way to #GPN
man, I need to stop browsing for (CLI-) tools/applications that I consider cool and inadvertently end up packaging for Debian.
Nice, the Apokalypse ist näher als gedacht:

@benpocalypse @itsfoss yeah, LLMs are harmful and have little applications except generating VC revenue and ruining the planet and the internet.
@rhonda archive.ph geht nicht ?
Heimreise kurz nach Sonnenaufgang während #MonacoF läuft mit "Sun geht auf". Basst.
Already uncovered two minor upstream bugs for crates built on the buildds, and provided a patch for the first one.
Today I hit a record number of 106 (!) commits. Mostly just semiautomated upload commits, but nevertheless a lot of work.

@agrantler @release_candidate yeah I read that post. But amalgamating yet another system component into systemd will just shift a possible privilege escalation to run0. And since that is interwoven with systemd that could have disastrous consequences.
@release_candidate I hppe this is a shittoot, this is one of the gravest issues in Linux imo. Entrusting more and more things to systemd will inevitably lead to a major security issue sonner or later. I know why I use #OpenRC with #Debian on most of my machines, considering to try #doas, too.
