Average athletic person: "Oh, I use nano every once in a while"

Muscled cross-fitter: "I do emacs"

Mustachioed weight lifter: "I vim competitively."

Humongous ripped body-builder: "I use ed(1)."

Well, it's all come down to this. I'm calling the project "finished." I just typed "Q". Goodbye Ed and thanks for all of the memories! 2618 lines of Rust. One implementation of Lox.

Beim wurden gerade mehrere Nazi-Dating-Websites live gelöscht, das war durchaus spektakulär.

Vorher waren die Daten runtergezogen und Recherchen über die Betreiberin angestellt worden.

Found elsenet: seems to sum up the zeitgeist nicely!

Fuck LLMs.

@gregdavill this comes handy at a time when I need to work with GPIB. The userspace tools are already in #Debian, and the kernel modules will soon be available, too.

@olasd yeah I always play it. Frankfurt is also a station that is bound to add delay; when I traveled home my ICE was on time before, then got delayed by 15 minutes.

@olasd sounds like a full bahnbingo: https://dasunicorn.github.io/BahnBingo/

Well, down to 18 now, I'm gonna call it a day

Whoever wrote asl.exe and implemented ACPI tables and the asl (acpi source language) must've been on some serious drugs. I am considering to write a linter just for that; 2 h down the drain and I just managed to reduce the errors from 120 to 80 something. Totally insane.

's git transition

blog post, by me: https://diziet.dreamwidth.org/20436.html

tl;dr:

There is a Debian git transition plan. It’s going OK so far but we need help, especially with outreach and updating Debian’s documentation.

Finally found the time to rebase my #Kicad MR adding SMD power inductors:

Now merged :)

Right now I am seriously reconsidering my life choices. Reinstalling the Windows SDK to reverse engineer the camera driver on my tablet. After getting a seven-year old I2CListener tool to build I am confident I'll eventually succeed though. Confirmed in my choice to run Linux, I don't get how on earth people run this voluntarily

@fabos ja genau, geh da nur hin zum kaffeetrinken
