Will leave standing here a request of help for my immigrant daughter to not be deported 🙇♀️ Please let us know if you know of a good job opportunity for her:
Daughter is a sensitive, sociable and sunny 19-year-old who likes animals and plants, and worries about social causes. She's been in Germany for 4 years, has telc B2 Deutsch, native-level English, and a (Brazilian) high school certificate. No work experience. Her main skill is drawing (digital and traditional, including animation), and she's also handy with the written word, textile crafts, hairdressing; but she's up for any entry-level job, really.
She's a legal immigrant, for now, but she needs a formal job still this year to secure that situation.
A Pratikum also would work.
We're in the Ruhrpott. She's willing to move for an opportunity, especially if it's a lively and queer-friendly place like Berlin, but there might be difficulties with finding a place to stay given the housing crises etc. Basically it would be good if the job pays enough to cover the living expenses of a young woman living in a WG in whatever place the job is located.
Otherwise that's all that's needed. It's not important that the job pays a lot, and she has no objection to doing manual labour, officework, cleaning work, odd hours etc. Her red line is no job handling meat or otherwise dealing with animal exploitation, or other directly unethical positions.
DM me if you have any concrete suggestions of open positions (please not things like "have you tried a warehouse?" or "have you considered a Berufskolleg/Studienkolleg?" or "have you talked with the Arbeitsagentur?" – yes we have, all of that we have.)

I'm gonna clear up the confusion right now because this is gonna turn into some Mandela effect bullshit if I don't.
The priests that go Wololo are from the first Age of Empires.
The equivalent unit in Age of Empires II is called a Monk. It has like a Gregorian chant sound effect.
People conflate these two because wololo priests were the most memorable thing from the first Age of Empires. But Age of Empires II was the much more popular game overall, and so it's more prominent in our cultural consciousness.
Periodic Reminder: Follow more Black people and be excellent to them. (And shoot down and report racist shitheads).

If you want to participate at the "CAD Showdown" at #OSHOP please register by putting your handle/name into this pad.
There are also some example challenges in there to get some practice if you need it.
I don't understand why Tiramisu isn't considered the ideal breakfast.
It has caffeine, sugar, and fat to give you energy for the day and a touch of booze to numb how stupid reality really is right now.
