@lcamtuf ah, I suddenly think I know why I originally started following you. A very belated thank you!🤦♂️
@lcamtuf I love the idea of the Internet Bystander Effect.
We also have it in security. People will complain on social media about bad things on the internet, create intel feeds for them etc. - but not a single report to the fraud and abuse channels designed for these things.
I feel like one of @briankrebs super-powers is being the first to report something to the appropriate takedown authorities.
@lcamtuf I was looking for steganographic software within Debian, and came across snowdrop, and although it did not meet my needs I appreciated the diversion into vacuum tubes and banknotes

Thank you for all your hard work.
Back in the greenscreen days I wrote a shareware tool that was used for at least a decade...
...I got three payments and each one made it all worthwhile!
@lcamtuf @briankrebs one day I plan on using AFL. But not today. Today I’m here for more chainsaw videos.
@lcamtuf does it seem to you that this is somehow worse in tech audiences? My tech blog got Iike, three or four people saying something nice in over a decade. My woodworking blog regularly gets positive and excited comments, like maybe most posts??
@lcamtuf please consider this a huge thank you. For the last year+ I’ve been using afl to target routing protocols and with some creative harness work managed to find quite a few bugs. Your work is hugely appreciated
@lcamtuf thanks for this. I wasn’t going to send a message to someone who wrote an article I enjoyed this week but this made me do it.
