New video posted yesterday!
I am an enjoyer of Shortwave, the IP/internet/streaming radio app that's part of the GNOME Circle. Maybe you would like it?

So, this video wasn't available until today via PeerTube, because it costs money to run a PeerTube instance (no ad revenue).
I am hoping to add GPU transcoding to that PeerTube instance someday, but it's expensive. More monthly supporters will help make that happen.
If you want to see a world outside of YouTube, you have to help fund the creators outside of YouTube. It's really that simple.

I hate to be so blunt about it, but without supporters to help build a successful PeerTube platform, you just wont see it grow.
If a creator you enjoy is pumping out PeerTube videos, support them so they can keep going. It's that simple.
I lose money on PeerTube month after month, and if you-all want to see a YouTube alternative, you have to... fund us.
@vkc what about nebula? I try to watch as much as possible over there
@vkc I think people are (and support) wherever the content is. This makes it a hard problem to solve. Kind of like the network effect when it comes to SoMe platforms.
I'm intrigued by the PeerTube platform, but every time I dive in, I can barely find any content.
In order for a platform to grow, it needs to start with what value it gives people. No one will support a platform if there's no content on it. Give people an incentive to support a platform over the other. Not the other way around.
I miss my pinephone though 🙁
