Not that Andy Weir's novels are terrible (I've read them! They're awesome!) but how it's fair that 2 out of 3 of his novels are (being) made into movies while @scalzi 's much larger set of works has not seen one despite multiple options being bought, I will never know.

I WANT A REDSHIRTS MOVIE!
I WANT AN EMPEROX TV SERIES!

Not even mentioning old man's war.

If someone with the budget and experience to make this happen were to, they'd have my eternal gratitude.
