Someone (who apparently works for VictoriaMetrics!) posted my latest blog post on HN, again, two days ago. 41 people so far have been treated to a Teapot.

Most of them saw the empty page, and left. Some tried the old trick of visiting again without a referrer header. Somone tried refreshing 22(!) times, to no avail.

I briefly contemplated putting a "Don't post my stuff on HN" banner on top of select posts, as a hint, but decided against it: why should I help HNers?

On the other hand, it would be nice to get in HN's banned domains, if there's such a thing. I wonder how I could accomplish that...

@algernon there is such a list, apparently. John Gruber blogged recently whinging about being on it

@jmtd From his article, it looks like his domain is not banned outright, just... delisted fast. I'm already achieving that with the Teapotting: I don't ever get to the front page to begin with.

It would be nicer if HN didn't even let anyone list a link to my domains in the first place. I wonder if HN does any requests to the linked site during submission (to fetch a title, maybe?)... I could maybe use that to discourage any future posters.
