Others got the Remarkable and were happy, but somehow I stuck with my old but cared for setup. Not trying to sound minimalist, but I got by without, even though I used a screen-input device before, for remote teaching mathematics.
For reading papers and making notes, I need the switch between reading on monitor and making notes on paper/text file, just to gather my thoughts a bit.
@mu yeah for papers I think printing and scribbling are still best for me too. Remarkable2 too small to comfortably do that for traditional journal layouts. Where it shined for me was reviewing my own thesis chapters, over and over
