, give me your best crêpe recipes and tips and tricks. Your recipe, how long to let the batter sit, what temperature you want your pan to be at, what you flip them with, what you top them with. My housemate bought me a nice new crêpe pan, but it hasn't magically granted me the knowledge and ability to make them any good. All suggestions, comments and boosts welcome.

@timixretroplays My crêpes and pancakes are mostly vibes-based, but my #1 piece of advice is to use medium heat and let the pan heat up properly before you attempt the first one. After that you can calibrate for your own pan and stove.

My #2 piece of advice is probably that crêpe batter needs to be more runny than you think. I usually use 1 cup of milk : 1 cup of flour : 1 egg for my default medium-thickness pancakes, but crêpes need more liquid than that.

In the meantime I've settled for Nagi's pikelets: https://www.recipetineats.com/pikelets/#h-how-to-make-pikelets

@confluency @timixretroplays I was in France earlier this month and initially I was a bit surprised to see how runny their crêpes liquid were... and yet... the crêpes came out perfectly fine!

@highvoltage @timixretroplays @confluency That's the point : crêpes are supposed to be slimmer than pancakes.
