I just bit the sour apple (does this idiom have an equivalent in English?) and moved all my still-active projects from GitHub to codeberg:

@decathorpe I'm struggling with how to deal with this for DProofreaders. I'd like to get us off GitHub and on to Codeberg but it's going to be so much work for an all-volunteer development team with not enough cycles already.

@gairdeachas yeah ... I'm "lucky" in that I basically only had a handful of projects / repos that were worth preserving and which are still actively developed. for larger projects or organizations, it's much more work 😞

though the "import from GitHub" feature did work surprisingly well, which could be useful
