I am feeling angry at systemd imposed policy again, not just disappointed that people are going along with it.

I am supposed to be more indifferent than this. At least I know that thanks to BSD, we will still have a free software community, even if the majority has shifted to being grateful that they have been permitted to publish their source code to Microsoft's servers, to train Microsoft's coding assistant, and even run it without getting a certificate from Microsoft.
