Screenshot of a LibreOffice Impress window, editing a presentation called "Don't underestimate the dumbphone: An introduction the KaiOS ecosystem". More slides thumbnails are visible on the sidebar.

This is incidentally my first time using ! libreoffice

Not because I'm using proprietary alternatives, but because I normally use vector based tools like and . This one's toolbars looked intimidating to start with, but hey, if I've used I can use anything, right? gimp

@badrihippo looking great! cant wait to attend this

@disaster2life awesome! See you there 😁

@badrihippo If anyone asks whether OpenStreetMap is also available on KaiOS, please don't forget that there are a few apps available ;-)

@perry yes! I added a screenshot to show off navigation, but unfortunately it had to be Google Maps 😣 so I was planning to include o.map to balance things out. Maybe the distance/speed estimates?

@badrihippo nice best of luck

@SpaciousCoder78 thanks! 🙂

@badrihippo In o.map, there is routing where the data comes from https://openrouteservice.org/. Otherwise, you can track your routes and then use them to create OSM data, for example.

@badrihippo its been two(?) years since weve met? im excited!

@badrihippo see you soon!

@perry @badrihippo aaaahhhh my name 😭

@disaster2life whoa really! That's crazy 😮

Looking forward!

@praveen see you 😁

@perry I obviously need to explore the app more 😅

I'm personally interested. A tough problem for OSM in general 😕 but normal navigation would be helpful for others for sure

@perry omg, I just tried the navigation and it's so cool!! I'm just sitting at home at the moment but will definitely try it again when I go out. The option to vibrate when I stray too much off the path is a nice touch; it saves me having to keep looking at the screen to avoid getting lost 🤸
