🎂 Ten years ago: a constituent assembly between me, myself, and I, to start my very own company – DEBAMAX (@debamax).
I had never dreamed to be an entrepreneur! Yet, having to deal with everything, from (ever-changing) administrativia to business decisions while also, well, actually working… means I get to own every success and every mistake.
Huge thanks to friends and family who have supported me along the way, to customers (current and past) who have trusted me. See you in another 10 years?
Congrats! I co owned a business for 15 years, before moving across continents.
It's hard, it's stressful, but it's also rewarding if you can make it work. And boy do I miss being able to say "sorry, our company doesn't do that"!

@CyrilBrulebois I've never owned a business and I don't want to. I'm happy having prominent roles in other people's businesses. But I admire those who do (even more if they succeed). As far as I can tell you are doing great work and I applaude you for that.

You know, while I'm not usually getting “inspired” by people or companies, knowing that there are a number of FLOSS companies out there, some of them run by DDs, for quite some time, probably played a role in the “that might be doable, let's try this” decision at the very beginning. 👍
