This is far fetched, but I would need quickly advise on getting a certificate of marital status from South Korea. We did have a paper certificate with authorized English translation. But the Finnish authorities after 5 months of processing responded the certificate is not apostille autheticated (and after asking if embassy can provide it they responded the electronic authentication has expired after 3 months, which is weird since the certificate was not electronic. Also they warned certificate from embassy may not be possible to authenticate for some reason.). My fiancé is no longer a citizen of South Korea (and does not have anymore bank account etc. there), because she got Finnish citizenship and we can not travel to Korea for this.

We are having trouble on finding if it is possible to get
1. Electronic certificate of marital status from South Korea
2. Directly in English
3. In a form that is accepted by Finnish authorities

If so, how?

Welcome to the world of conflicting bureaucratic requirements. When I did paperwork to move to South Africa, the South African government wanted me to do something (produce a certified copy of my passport) that the Belgian government declared illegal (you're not allowed to make any copies of any identity documents, not even your own)

The solution was to get a lawyer to help me find my way out. I'd suggest you might need to do the same.
