Swedish labour union IF Metall is really taking strike funds to a new level. Workers are getting paid about 125% of their usual wages and receive training while on strike. Oh, and then there's the sympathy strikes. The Tesla factories aren't getting registration plates delivered or their waste emptied.

The union says it can keep the strike going "for 500 years" if necessary. The reason they're so invested in this is that Tesla is trying to undermine the Nordic model. Good luck with that. The labour movement here in Scandinavia is huge and powerful.

@werdahias There was a time when IG Metall would shut down entire cities when their demands weren't met. What the Tesla strike goes to show, in my opinion, is how little is needed to completely shut down an employer who is unwilling to cooperate.

@werdahias @anarchiv I wish German unions would join the sympathy strikes.
Currently Tesla ship German workers over to do work that won't be done on the receiving end.

@anarchiv wer hat uns verraten?

@anarchiv I hope they break that prick over their knee like a dry branch and every other worker on the planet takes note
