@reece finally catching up to nextmetro- and great work, and I would really like to share some experience from local knowledge, the whole mess that is inter and intra city transit agencies, India somehow, falls into the same painful loop, within my City, we have at least 6 authorities each with different responsibilities. And for High Speed Rail, we are building new track that is a different guage from the rest of the country, how does one stop this deliberate mess?
@reece also I reach out here since I don't want to interact with substack, thank fuck they offer RSS feeds so i can read your blog!
@disaster2life High-Speed rail using a different trackage from the rest of the country and new track is completely rational
@reece different trackage and right of way? yes, and even with a different guage for easier access to rolling stock, the HSR project like there I do not believe plans to be an open access system, but a closed loop unto itself.
