I might dedicate friday’s “day of learning” to finally catch up on some of this LLM craze, specifically developer tooling. I’m very behind. Any recommendations on specific things to look at? Thanks!
I’ll probably ring fence some time to further explore the ethical issues with them (that’s pretty much all I’ve done so far) but not the whole day

@jmtd Whenever I start thinking about the ethics of the current crop of generative AI products and its industry in general, I usually cannot get past the vision of what this might do to my own 13 y/o kid and his cohort's ability to learn anything ever again if this is allowed to run rampant in every part of society (and chiefly the educative system). And that gets me so depressed that I generally stop there.
I guess that, as a father, I am biased. But then again all bias isn't intrinsically bad...
