Linux is cool and all but for computer illiterates like me it still feels like performing homebrew heart surgery while trying to land a rocket in the middle of a volcanic eruption.

@anarchiv professional computer expert specialized in linux here. it still feels like that too
@anarchiv fair, but it's gotten to the point where I can instruct my mom to install a program with a GUI. I have way less problems supporting her than I'd have with windows.

@werdahias I don't know what GUI means. And I haven't had a problem with Windows that needed fixing since... I don't know, I was still living with my parents then. Whereas with Linux, I wiped my entire harddisk by accident.
