US foreign policy is pure jingoism now and if anyone can stop it without further bloodshed, it's us Europeans. It's time to tell off the US in any way we can while at the same time standing in solidarity with working-class Americans.

It's not going to be easy, but Europe is the only power in the world that can make a difference and influence the US, even though their administration depises us for our diversity and pluralism.

No, I'm not turning into some kind of European nationalist if that's what you're worried about, but I do recognise my people's place in the time we live in. We have to acknowledge our responsibility no matter where we stand politically.

An European nationalist would be talking about their duty as center of civilization and something something western values.
