US carmakers, backing away from EVs and basically only making SUVs + MASSIVE trucks, so they can force Americans to pay outrageous amounts for new cars, are going to destroy their industry (and the planet).

I am seeing more electric cars in New Delhi which is surprising me. In India, electric cars have green colored plates so they are identifiable.
@seanbala I remember when, in Illinois, electric cars had plates that started with EV and then were numbered after that. I kept my plate, one of the early ones with "EV 2019" as my license plate. Then I remember when they had to stop doing that because we had so many they ran out of numbers... :)
Unfortunately, Germany's carmakers are not much better. Most of our big car companies build SUVs and hold back on EVs.
And our chancellor fights against EVs every time he can.
It makes me very angry.
