Huh. This job listing doesn't ask for experience in Rust or C++, just "exposure to Rust, C++, C, or other compiled, non-garbage-collected language"
Weird.
@foone exposure:
"my room mate once showed me a c++ listing"
"Someone shouted macro related slurs in the room next to me"
"I lived in a house next to the MIT"
@foone Is exposure to crabs enough?
@gloriouscow rust crabs are often found by the C
@foone that was how the company I used to work for phrased it in some of our postings. The idea was to encourage folks with non-standard backgrounds in non-cs fields to apply, but still set expectations for what we used and what they would need to learn more about.
@foone I've been exposed to all three at once. I developed lesions on the affected area & was quarantined immediately upon entering the emergency room. It was highly contagious. Five nurses & two doctors died. I only just barely survived, apparently because previous exposure to Scratch acted as a weak vaccine.
@foone I have been exposed to those languages in the radioactive sense
@foone rare and unusual Reasonable Expectations spotted in the wild
@foone increasing my exposure by sleeping with the ansi c bible under my pillow
@kay all your dreams feature K&R notation
Now picturing Rust flashing me with an open trenchcoat
