@werdahias ticket machine only. And Euskotren Hendaia to the TGV at Hendaye is about 3 min walking.
@werdahias @jon Oh wow, the connection to spain via Hendaya is working this year? My partner @Akirakio is swearing that it wasn't last year when we planned our annual trip from Germany to Portugal. We usually take the south/eastern connection and stay a night in Barcelona. But to get there, we also leave the night train at the French/Spanish border (la tour de carol?) and switch to a Regio where we buy the ticket physically from a machine inside the train.
@josch @werdahias @Akirakio Euskotren crossing the border at Hendaye always works. Last year, this year. The question is what then runs from Irun to wherever you need to go Spanish side, as there are still quite a lot of works there.
@werdahias @josch @Akirakio yes that’ll run (Euskotren for sure, Renfe maybe). It’s west / south from San Sebastián where you don’t quite know. If in doubt ALSO check the Euskotren website as the data sharing between them and UIC Merits (hence Railplanner app and DB) is patchy.
