I like that TI still formats their datasheets for print, does anyone still actually commit them to paper?

@cibomahto I occasionally print out the pinout page of a datasheet when I wire up, modify or debug prototype circuits.

@cibomahto I’ve recently seen a company where engineers printed out all sorts of things simply because all computer screens in the company were really crappy 1080p 22” ones that would barely fit Altium, let alone a PDF datasheet next to it. Admittedly, that was management failure and not something that would be reasonably for this decade.

@jaseg Oh no, that's some classic business logic to pay for expensive software subscriptions and not provide useful hardware to run it on.

@cibomahto when I am debugging I often print out the relevant page.
Register definitions or pinout diagrams. And use a pen to write down my measurements or observations on them as well.

@cibomahto 100℅, handwritten notes on register definitions /pinouts/ example circuits go a long way.
