Good morning from the farm. I have zoom meetings allllll day so I needed extra outside/animal time this morning.

As a bonus, here is the goose party that was guarding the entrance to the Science Centre yesterday where I gave a talk (they were all happily eating grass and didn't actually care about anyone walking by)

@sundogplanets back in my university days in Vancouver we had a goose make her nest near the door to one of the buildings. Every year for a period of time there were signs everywhere closing off that entrance lol. She'd attack anyone who got near her and her babies.

@sundogplanets Where I worked there was a reflecting pool and Canada Geese would gather. They had loud arguments with each other. Their droppings were huge and messy. And they walked around the parking lot like they owned it.

If you got too close to one, it would look at you and hiss like a cat.
