i really wanna do something w/ hardware engineering instead of just software, for a change
dunno what tho
dunno what tho
@navi god mooood
@navi reset circuitry for an NES that responds to a+b+start+select was fun and pretty simple
@wyatt i don't really own a nes though =w= (nor any display where i could even plug one in)
@wyatt but thanks for the suggestion
@navi I mean, some of us write funny ESP32 things on the side, of course you're gunna do something awesome there!
...
Unless you meant *hardware-only.* Maybe look into designing chips?
@Brahvim oh embedded work is also a-ok, but even then idk what i'd make it do
@Brahvim aka i just want the end result to be some physical thing i can touch and see in action
@navi return of the blowtorch lesbians
@navi understandable. That's what me me choose electrical engineering over computer science: Because it is pretty satisfying to see a LED blink at the end of the day.
Though I had to debug SPI and devicetrees today, so YMMV.
