I had the Vic. After that I got a color computer 3 but I wish I would have went for the commodore 64 or 128. I still regret that bad decision.

I had one of those too. I got mine in 2011 though. It lasted 12 years.

@plzupgrademe @funhouseradio I got a ZX81, with one of my first wage packets. Then borrowed a Spectrum, then Got the Commodore. No idea why I got the other two. Then NES and Master System

I started high School when the NES came out and it was a challenging college prep school so I made the conscious decision not to buy it so that I could do better in school. I really didn't get into Nintendo until much later.

@funhouseradio @plzupgrademe My son bought me thing called an X10 pro, a tiny, USB powered box with virtually every 'old school' game you can think of on it. Sonic, Donkey Kong, Lemmings, you name it. All different versions too, arcade Play Station NES, SNES, Megadrive. They're very frustrating. Most of them have 3 or 5 lives then you go back to square 1. Anyone remember Turrican II or Ghosts and Goblins?

I discovered the NES game Felix The Cat from one of those multi-carts. It's kind of a sleeper game because it wasn't popular at the time but it's really fun. If you have that on your USB thing, try it out!
