Oh wow TIL the gzip binary is single threaded 💀

Running pigz compresses the same archive like 20x faster holy shit

I discovered `zstd`, my life is fulfilled

@rail oh I thought to mention it at first, but then I thought that you're probably using gzip for some compatibility reasons on purpose

@IngaLovinde look I'm a dumb puppy and I didn't really need to deal with a lot of large files that need to be compressed quickly and effectively

And now I do 🥴

For everything I did before gzip was the default and good enough option
