If you just want to get the humidity down, it's usually better to get a dedicated dehumidifier. They're more efficient in dehumidifying than an AC unit, not as loud, and use far less energy.

Ours is https://www.meaco.com/products/meaco-meacodry-dehumidifier-abc-range-10l?variant=33722215334019 and it works very well, but there are other options I'm sure.

@wouter I mean in some sense but it's probably negligible vs running a split inverter at the lowest power setting, it just does 180W or something and has 40 dB at 30cm

@wouter to put it another words the exhaust fans in the kitchen and bath room are louder
