Is one of those wonder technologies that I've never understood. The point I stop at is "needs 12GB RAM". Erm... No?
I just don't get how something can be safe and require that much volatile memory.
And also I've never felt I have that amount of memory to do without. I understand the "enterprise" folk having a use for it, but us everyday normies? Snapshots are great but do you really need to resort to those enough to justify the RAM needs?

@artfulrobot It hasn't needed that much RAM for a long time. If you use some features that are memory hungry (like dedup), then you need some amount of RAM for every TB of storage you have, but with modern versions of ZFS you can very comfortably run it with much less. Even dedup has been improved a lot in the last few releases of openzfs.
