Finally, one of these little thunderstorms is going to rain on us instead of disappearing! (I hope. I maybe just jinxed it. Gosh we need some rain...)

Better be more careful about that jinxing! Did you check the horoscope before deciding to post this little note of gratitude? When Mars is in Delphinus, any mention of thunderstorms will portend badly for the weather.

p.s. I always had a bad attitude about astrology, so don't be surprised by my obvious ignorance of proper astrological lingo. (I'll bet my lack of orbital understanding in the celestial sphere comes as no surprise to an astronomer, in any case.) 🙂

I envy you the scent (because it's better than any perfume!) of petrichor that you get 😻

(We hadn't had rain for months and it rained a couple of days ago and I ran outside just to grab a lungful of the smell 🤗)

@sundogplanets funny coincidence: early this morning I delayed walking to the grocery store by about 15 minutes because a severe thunderstorm was passing over us. And it dropped a lot of rain*, but I managed to miss most of it.
