Maybe? It's part of the reason I keep the MacBook G4 I have, it has a built in modem. I don't know if it's ever been connected to a phone line though.
@tzafrir modems yes, drivers? no clue, I do kinda want one but theyre like 50 USD pm mega online store.
Though ive seen a whole bunch of people dialup with modern modems, plus saw a recent hackaday post for a DIY modem that ran at like 75 baud or something, wonder if that needed a driver
