German university students are often obsessed with what the "hardest" field of study is, usually the STEM ones claim that theirs is so much more difficult than anything else and they get very pissed about any disagreement on that.

Is that a thing elsewhere too?

@aesthr Where I am Engineering is extremely macho (in both gendered and ungendered senses), with CS a kindof wannabe following behind. I don't get the same vibe from other STEM disciplines. The potential for sample bias is pretty off the charts though, given the small group of students and faculty I interact with.
