Confession time: in the last few weeks I’ve developed a bad habit: reading reddit. I exclusively access it via mobile web. Today they’ve added a modal, undismissable nag screen to push people to their app.

@jmtd I've been getting that for a while now (on the few occasions my wife sends me a link to a funny r/CasualUK or r/BritishProblems thread). IME it doesn't pop up straight away, but only after a timeout and/or scrolling down a bit.

@jmtd in Safari, you can get rid of this with the block distractions thing. At least, I was seeing it and now don't and I did kill it with block distractions.
