#Debian is really trying my patience. I don't want to leave the chromium package in the lurch for stable, but I'm also not interested in being forced to interact with LLMs.

This is what made that GR so frustrating. This is the corruption and destruction of a community.

@debacle I meant stepping back from debian in general; that would leave chromium packages in a bad place.
The GR does affect chromium, however, in that one of the potential co-maintainers has been throwing slop at me. If the GR had gone the way I wanted, I could just say "sorry, that's against debian policy" (for example, the same way I'd be able to refuse a merge request allowing a binary blob).
Oh, I see. Yes, that would probably help somewhat. Maybe you could remind them, that there is still human responsibility for their code, no matter, if an LLM has been used? Throwing unfiltered AI output at others is lack of respect, IMHO.
It's very depressing since Debian is my first love, but I guess it's time to cut the losses. Glad my main focus revolves around hardware, so I can sit that one out.

Pardon, what exactly did you ask? On IRC, I guess?
Give them time. We are all volunteers. E.g. I sometimes reply within a minute, sometimes within a week, sometimes I just forget to answer and need to be reminded. I don't expect others to be better than myself 😉
