Debian Maintainer | A Computer Nerd who also happens to be a Debian Packager.

I support free software and open standards. Outside of the computer world, I'm a STEM Major who likes inventing things.

I also port third-party software to FreeBSD. Also a mapper for OpenStreetMap.

I’m also a hobbyist graphic designers who mostly designs posters and media content for Debian India

@khubsuratinsaan teach me senpai!

@contrapunctus let me guess, you’re the owner/admin of these channels too? :P At this point you own half of xmpp lol

@fbinin yeah I’m pretty tired of people boasting about our GDP over western countries but our quality of living has always been bad and is becoming worse. You’re constantly being pumped up with toxic metals and PM 2.5 just by living here. Our children are being born with deformities or dying prematurely due to cancers or living with respiratory diseases. Not a very sustainable state

@fbinin @amerpie gdp is growing pretty fast but the incomes aren’t. Growth is only for the rich, the common man in India still lives without proper access to things.

@khubsuratinsaan ignore the clowns. Honestly people should mind their own business. I wear those blue masks to college and I get a lot of “why are you wearing a mask?” Questions

@kishy @fbinin I’m not distro hopping anymore or using anything other than debian because I do debian packaging now.

@fbinin the closest I got to arch was using manjaro but I didn’t like it. I’ve been on debian/ubuntu based distros for like 9 years now. Most of the Ubuntu ones had issues and would often break. Never had a single problem with debian.

I like the way how there’s a mass exodus of Windows users to Linux or MacOS and I’m glad to say that I’m one of them. Debian was the only distro that kept me around for over 7 months without distro hopping.

Accidentally created the logo in my Dosa. Good morning

@werdahias @mirabilos I’m sure someone might be thinking about making a GR too ;) Your voice was heard

@khubsuratinsaan @sahil I use BSNL as a secondary sim. Signal is trash but it’s a cheap service for a secondary phone number.

@khubsuratinsaan they paid me ₹100 for dropping a review of my college like 3 years ago lol

@niyabits that's great. I hope you get the job and move out to a place that's more accepting. I don't plan on working in India either.

@werdahias @mirabilos yep I think I was the only one who supported slop ban in that thread. Sad to see slop making its way into debian. Maybe you could start a new thread about it. Hoping we can come up with a resolution to ban slop. Like I said in that email; debian has no business with slop because we aren't a corporate company to please shareholders or ship broken stuff.

@niyabits don't you need something like C1 in German to work in Germany though?

Day 8 of consistent bad and light sleep. Feeling exhausted at. I haven't slept properly in a week.

@khubsuratinsaan I wish they didn't do that free bus shit here. Buses are very congested as the infrastructure wasn't meant for it. I had to stop using bus services because of it. Irony is that they lost the confidence of people who actually pay for the service, I know a lot of people who prefer Indian Railways now. I myself prefer Indian Railways over our state bus services.
