@TheEvilSkeleton @thelinuxEXP I don't like how you're the one getting the heat in this situation even though you're just doing what upstreams usually do -- hold distro maintainers responsible.
I just finished watching Nick's video and he explained the controversy very well which kinda makes clear as to who's responsible for the package's current condition.
Mint should just create its own apps at this point. They modify way too much stuff.
@TheEvilSkeleton @fun Rebranding stuff or heavily modifying a project's source code is nothing new to Mint.
Again, from what I noticed, most people are poorly informed about what upstreams can do. An upstream has no control over the repositories of a distro so the upstream author cannot do much about the bugs because its the responsibility of the distro.
I don't even understand the backlash against you because its a downstream maintained package now.
New article, although this one is a controversial one based on the situation of GNOME Calendar and Linux Mint. I present to you: How far would hostile distributions go to hurt application developers?

There are a lot of uncertainties in my life right now but what’s certain is that my next console will be a Nintendo Switch 2.
Thank you Sony for helping me with the decision.
@fbinin @johan @Codeberg @untrusem yes I have my website up and running with codeberg pages but my setup is an old one that still fortunately works.
They made some changes to how codeberg pages works and they’re not done with the transition yet. For the custom domains you still need to use the old method but I couldn’t get it working myself because of the new changes.
I’m waiting for codeberg to iron it out
How to share your games on the upcoming PS6? Watch this and find out
I went to a KFC yesterday and tried to order some food via the self ordering kiosk that ran on Windows 10. The kiosk had a BSOD and crashed when I was about to place my order.
KFC would not only save a lot of money by using Linux but their kiosk machines also wouldn’t die out midway through an order.
To me a new PS5/6 is looking like a worthy purchase given that we’re getting a Witcher Remake as well as 4.
