@rhonda have thought about it a lot, or well enough, think it has to do with wanting to be for once, on the in group, making jokes makes one feel like part of the group, and passive discrimination (making ableist, sexist, and other xenophobic comments and such) at least, gives you an in, and some community to be with, and at least when I’ve felt marginalised, that’s what I’ve desperately wanted, any sense of community. Think that’s why.

@sophie144p our Job system works, ignore the unemployment rate, the contrast between “holy shit people don’t want to work” and thousands applying for the same jobs, and the “dips and rise of the market” relating to employment, especially in big tech. it’s all fine :)))
