Internet weirdo, F/OSS enjoyer, Debian Culter, pursuing a degree by day, spending my nights sleepless :p; feel free to reach out, and have a great day!

Saw a post on bsky that bsky harbors transphobes, twitter is a nazi bar and meta is doing carve outs specifically so it's OK to harass queer people and lamenting "where are we supposed to go"

It's fedi. You're supposed to go to fedi. It's right here. I know it's full of smelly nerds* but you can either have a slick corporate interface with bigots or the Linux of social media without. Maybe it's time to put up with the smelly nerds and the jank

*bsky user words not mine

The problem with the TrackPoint, too easy to access the mouse now without moving my fingers away that I often don't end up using the keyboard shortcuts >~>

The Debian Installer team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the installer for Debian 13 Trixie. https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2024/12/msg00002.html https://micronews.debian.org/2024/1735668273.html

its calculations are without flaw

a graph consisting of years on the y axis and days on the x axis.

the x axis reads "yesterday, today, tomorrow" and the corresponding values on the y axis are "2024, 2025, 2026". there is a red solid line from the origin to (today, 2025), and a dotted red line from (today, 2025) to (tomorrow, 2026).

We've made many advancements this year with Arcticons, so I've written a post about it, check it out:
